DMMd-collecting, questions, reviews, pictures, feel free to ask
#i need to rearrange my blog I think
I haven’t really had a good purpose with my blog so far, so I was thinking of updating more with pieces of my DMMd-collection, and if people have questions about where to get stuff or like more detailed pictures, reviews or whatever I would gladly help. (I also know Japanese, so I can navigate Japanese sites which may be intimidating at a glance.)
I love collecting, and I know how frustrating it can be to not know where to get stuff, or maybe the only options are frustratingly expensive. If someone wants to get DMMd-related stuff but don’t know how I would really like to be of help. It’s really good to support the gaming company and game we love so much with buying the games, DVDs, merchandise etc, so I really recommend doing it!
As for what my collection has, well I mostly get the stuff I think is high quality and of use, but it’s a tad bigger than Atticumi’s (my best friend) and I think both of us would gladly help if people have questions. I’ll probably start putting pictures and cataloging when I’m not as busy with work but it will take some time probably.
And once again sorry for the late replies! Some messages (that are not asks, more like conversations?) I’m not sure if I’ve answered before or not, so sorry if If it goes ignored. ( ;∀;) Please feel free to contact me again if you want to talk about where we left off!
Hello beautiful person! Once you get this you must share five random facts about yourself then pass this on to your ten favourite followers! :D
- My pinkies are freakishly short
- I could live on avocado for the rest of my life
- If I had the money I would cosplay all dem DMMd dudes. HNGG
- I’m the cosplay organizer for a major event and I’m freaking nervous.
- I was the interpreter for a Japanese cosplayer at an event and I wish I could have done a better job (because frankly my Japanese is getting rusty) but it was still one of the most awesome and exciting types of work I’ve done so far.
Hellooo~ I was browsing thru the dmmd tags when I came across pictures of your Koujaku cosplay, and it's amazing! You said in a post that you didn't make the cosplay, only minor details, right? So I was wondering where you got the kimono? I'm having trouble figuring out how to make it/where to buy it...
I bought it on Rakuten from a Japanese webshop who makes their stuff in China. (So basically I think you would get the same results from maybe taobao or maybe even ebay?)
The shop is called Cosoutlet: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/cosoutlet/?scid=me_ich_conf_02
Rakuten does have a global site as well, and it seems like Cosoutlet also has an English front that sells the costume internationally, so here it is!
Depending on the price I would maybe crosscheck with taobao and ebay, but I hope you find what you are looking for! Regardless if you decide to buy or make your costume, don’t forget to send me a picture! I would love to see more Koujaku-cosplay! ^3^
Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any more questions! Have a nice day!
